General Manager

Leanah has been at Amity Motel as General Manager with Tony since 2022. Leanah assists Tony in all aspects of the role while also juggling a newborn and a toddler, which is enough to keep anyone busy. Leanah has lived locally for years and has a great knowledge of the area and can help anyone to plan a memorable experience during their stay. You won’t miss Leanahs infectious smile and bubbly personality while she checks you in or assists you with your booking.

Assistant Manager

Jessie joined the Amity Motel team in 2021 as a room attendant and it didn’t take long before she was recognised for her friendly and hardworking manner and moved into the office. With her previous hospitality experience and her passion for working with people it made her the perfect choice for this position. Jessie is still a regular room attendant as well as working in the office meaning that she knows the units like the back of her hand and can attest to the standards of the rooms she is pairing you with. When Jessie isn’t at Amity Motel she spends her days creating macrame creations while raising her two beautiful daughters.

Owner

Jason was a teenager still in high school when his parents were building the Amity Motel but it didn’t take him long to get hooked on tourism and hospitality. With plenty of hard work and lots of ambition he took on the role as manager in 2012, at the tender age of 21, where his passion for the industry has continued to grow. As an owner/operator, Jason is constantly on the lookout for new ideas and technology  to ensure that every guest can have a pleasurable stay while he is able to create a sustainable business that his young children will hopefully be able to be a part of in the future too.

Owner

Kate grew up in the back hills of Strathmore along The Forgotten World Highway where she spent most of her childhood before leaving the region to study. She returned to Stratford to start a family with Jason and to support him while he managed Amity Motel. Kate prefers the behind the scenes part of the business but you may be able to spot her cleaning during your stay, sometimes with one or two kids in tow.
